All seasons are over and it has been a great year for Eagles Athletics! From Provincial medals, to North Central Zone and District Championships, to many athletes improving in their skills and confidence, it has been great to have sports back in full swing at Cedars.
Here are the awards as handed out Tuesday June 14.

Thank you to Jamie Erbacher who guided our Gymnastics athletes, Jaela Erbacher and Carla Van Zyl, at the Provincial Championship meet. Thanks also to Julia Tuninga who coached our Badminton Club in hopes that we can field a team in the coming years.
Finally a HUGE THANK YOU to all our coaches who are listed above. Arguably, Cedars has the best coaching staff in Prince George with so many staff, parents, and community members willing to volunteer their time to coach and mentor our Eagles athletes. Many of them have been involved for years, while others have stepped up only recently – including a number of Cedars graduates.
This year the North Central Zone honoured five of our coaches for their years of service: Jenkin Wilson (5 years) Michelle Karpenko and Krystal Rempel (10 years), Frank Crosina (15 years) and Roland Rempel (25 years)! Well done and thanks to all of you for what you have given back to Cedars and built into our athletes.
Finally, as we anticipate moving into our new facility in the fall, we eagerly look forward to hosting lots of games and tournaments, including the 2022 Girls A Volleyball Provincial Championships November 30-December 3! If you are interested in helping out with Provincials as a volunteer, please contact our Athletic Director, Steve Wilson (email@example.com).
Looking forward to a fantastic 2022-23 of Cedars Eagles sports! Have a great summer!
