16 teams descended on Prince George and Cedars for the 2022 ‘A’ Girls Championships and it was a memorable and rousing success. Our girls did not do as well as they had hoped but they played hard. They moved up in ranks after pool play to 6th overall, but ran into a solid team from Osoyoos and lost their first-round playoff match. They ended up defeating Surrey in their last match to finish 11th overall. Thank you, Coaches Jeff Ludditt and Hailey Gilkerson for a memorable year – being the North Central Champion for the 13th year in a row is a great accomplishment in and of itself! Well done team!
