Congratulations to the Cedars Sr Boys Basketball Team for playing some of their most exciting games of the season at the BC Provincial tournament this past week. The boys went into the tournament ranked 8th out of 16 teams, and after winning 2 games and pushing #1 Unity to their limit, the boys finished a surprising 5th over all! Some highlights of the tournament were coming from being down 20-2 to beat St Anne’s from Kamloops 44-40, leading #1 Unity Christian 41-40 at the halfway point, handing St John’s a 72-70 defeat with a buzzer-beating shot by Joe Redden, and winning the Most Sportsmanlike Team. Congratulations also to Ryan Crosina for earning a 2nd team all-star. Great show boys, well done!
