Well, we are underway! So good to have students and families return to our campus. Thank you for your patience with our unexpected traffic flow patterns. We have had lots of opportunity to demonstrate our core value of being a “community of grace” already!
Once again, we have organized this week’s Shake e-newsletter into two sections to help you process a number of information and action items. Especially at the start of the year, it is important to review these items closely so that you don’t miss out on opportunities and we have the feedback we need to be responsive to the needs of your family.
One item I’d like to highlight is our Welcome Back Event, this Friday evening. In lieu of our traditional, back-to-school BBQ, we are inviting families to RSVP (call or email office) to participate in a short, dessert walkthrough experience on our campus. We still have room in our 6:30 and 7:00 walkthrough cohorts! RSVP today!
On this walkthrough, families will engage in a brief “meet the teacher” time in the foyer, gym, and library/lab; pick up a dessert; and take a tour through our new expansion project near the river. Spaces are limited. Kids are welcome. Masks are required for high school students and adults. I hope to see you there!
