Pre-order Your Cedars “Every Child Matters” Orange Shirt
Our Cedars Every Child Matters Orange Shirt features a design by artist Clayton Gauthier with the words “Every Child Matters”. The design is the same one that is being carved on the cedar plank at our school with Clayton. Shirts are $20 each, and are available in a wide range of kid and adult sizes. Proceeds from orange shirt sales will be directed to the Orange Shirt Society.
Deadline to order is June 17, 2022. Shirts will be delivered in September.
September 30th marks the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation as well as Orange Shirt Day. This day honours the lost children and survivors of Canadian residential schools, their families, and communities. Canadians are encouraged to wear an orange shirt to show their support for survivors and pay respects to those who did not survive. We will be participating in school-wide assemblies and Orange Shirt Day on September 29, 2022.
