National Indigenous People’s Day – June 21st Invitation
June 21st is National Indigenous People’s Day. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples. Many of our Cedars students and families have deep Indigenous connections. If you would like to learn more about local Indigenous peoples and the history of this day, we invite you to check out the June edition of our Library newsletter or take up Chief Dolleen Logan’s invitation to participate in events from 11am-7pm at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.
