National Day of Truth and Reconciliation – Resources for Reflection
Over the last couple of years, we have curated some resources for our staff to lead reflective learning experiences for our primary, intermediate, and high school students that address important truths, and provide opportunities to be part of Canada’s reconciliation journey. All families can access these resources (quotes, videos, reflection prompts) by following the link below:

Next week we will share some local opportunities for reflection and response, including elementary and high school assemblies at the school on Thursday, September 28th. We encourage our community to wear orange shirts on Sept 28th and join us in remembering that “Every Child Matters”.
Please note that Friday, September 29th will be a non-instructional day. All families are encouraged to take time on Friday and/or Saturday, Sept 30th to reflect and honour those who suffered trauma in residential schools. It is a time to listen, to learn, and to respond.
