Mrs. MacDonald is Retiring
It is with mixed emotions that we would like to inform our Cedars community of Mrs. Susan MacDonald’s retirement plans. We have been blessed to have Mrs. MacDonald work with our littlest ones in the Kindergarten class for the past seven years. Susan came to Cedars with the intention of capping off her teaching career by investing a couple of years in the place where her three daughters attended for their K-12 education. She has absolutely loved her experience in this place, and more recently job-sharing with Mrs. Lindsay Ray. As much as she is drawn to continue teaching here again in 2018/19, Mrs. MacDonald feels that she needs to invest in supporting her own family in this next stage of life.
We pray that Susan will continue to find ways to share her gift of caring, and be a blessing to her family and in the new circles into which she will inevitably be drawn. We are also thankful to announce that Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Kayla Schmalz (returning from maternity leave) have agreed to share the role of Kindergarten teacher in 2018/19. Thanks be to God for His faithful provision of quality, Christian teachers to “educate and equip” our children in this place.
