Heading into the Zone Championships this past weekend, the Cedars Junior Girls went in ranked 8th and faced the powerhouse SAMS team in round one. They lost to the eventual Zone Champions but went forward with determination, defeating North Peace Secondary of Fort St. John in their final game to finish the tournament in 5th overall. Well done, girls and Coaches Mr. Hanson and Mrs. Bailie, and congratulations to Colby K. for being selected as a Second Team All-star!
