BC School Sports is proud to launch the very first BCSS virtual event to promote physical activity as part of a healthy reintegration into schools during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This challenge is a Cross Country Run where student-athletes will have the opportunity to participate in ONE of the two challenge distances either a 3.0 km distance or a 5.5 km distance.

The aim is to engage all BC high school student-athletes from all 19 sports to encourage them to stay active in creative ways during these difficult times.

It is open to any grade 8-12 student at a member school.

Cedars Christian School will host an official run next week on Tuesday, October 27 for grades 8 and 9 and next Thursday, October 29 for grades 10-12. The event will take place at Otway and will be hosted by our cross-country club.

If your child would like to participate in this event, please email Julia Tuininga (juliat@cedars.bc.ca) or Steve Wilson (stevew@cedars.bc.ca) by Monday, October 26.
