A Christian perspective is intentionally and authentically integrated into all parts of the curriculum at Cedars. Biblical throughlines such as Creation-Enjoyers, Order-Discoverers, and Beauty-Creators are used to invite students to respond to God as those made in His image.
Our classroom teachers are certified by the BC Ministry of Education and place a strong emphasis on Numeracy and Literacy. Staff members model the discipleship they teach and genuinely care about each student’s mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual development.
A strong sense of knowing and being known permeates the Cedars community culture. The ROCK acronym is used to emphasize our need to Be Respectful, Take Ownership, Build Community, and Be Kind in our interactions with one another.
Come Visit Us
Situated on the banks of the Nechako River, Cedars Christian School has been partnering with families on their Pre-K to 12 school journey for over 40 years!
We exist to educate and equip discerning disciples for restorative work in God’s kingdom. We believe that Christ is Lord over all things – not just the sacred corners of it.
We would love the opportunity to show and share our story in person.
More About Cedars
As an independent Christian school, we seek to provide a distinctively Christian educational experience that prepares students for restorative work in diverse vocations, such as: medicine, forestry, engineering, trades, Christian ministry, business and education.
Students at Cedars are able to take a wide variety of elective and athletic opportunities, including: concert band, small engine repair, chemistry, writing, drama, worship arts, video editing, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Class trips, music retreats, mission adventures, and community service days develop strong relationships that last years beyond graduation.
