When look-alike brother and sister twins are lost in a storm, each assumes the other has drowned. Since the sister, Viola, decides to dress as a boy to make her way in the world, mistaken identities, a love triangle and a practical joke on a self-righteous butler all join to make this a classic comedy of Shakespeare.
