Grade 12 student Cole Willmann recently received the news that he was the recipient of the $80,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship in Entrepreneurship from the University of Saskatchewan!

Many of you know Cole from his egg business and that was the impetus for his application. He dreams of one day expanding that business to include an egg quota, owning and operating a grading facility, as well as expanding his family’s cow/calf operation and even one day designing and building greenhouses to supply Northern BC communities lacking fresh and affordable food options.

Cole’s area of study at the U of S will be in Agriculture and Bioresources and he is grateful for this scholarship that will allow him to concentrate on his studies without being concerned about the finances. He thinks the $80,000 will help a lot in that area! It will also allow him to continue to help on his family’s farm and even to volunteer out at Ness Lake Bible Camp in the summer, too.

Congratulations, Cole!
