Cedars Eagles are the 2022 North Central Senior ‘A’ Boys Basketball Champions!
This past Saturday, Cedars Eagles defeated Fort St. James Falcons 86-37 to capture their second consecutive North Central ‘A’ Zone Championship.
Led by tournament MVP Mitchell C and First Team All-stars Tony K, Seth H, and Jake D, the boys went unbeaten over the three day event: defeating Mountain Christian 93-26, Sir Alexander Mackenzie 91-47, and Fort St. James 78-43 in the semi-final before seeing the Falcons again in the final.
The team now prepares to enter the Provincial Championships on March 9-12 as the #4 ranked team in the province with a legitimate shot at a medal and the provincial crown.
