There are just a few more things to cover before we end this email series.

After School Care

Cedars has an after school care program that runs from 2:55pm to 6:00pm on regular days and from 1:30pm to 6:00pm on Early Dismissal Wednesdays. Fees and further details on are the application form which you can download from our Forms Page.

Athletics at Cedars

Several team sports are offered after school hours throughout the year at Cedars. In Grades 6 and 7, volleyball happens in the fall and basketball runs in January/February. There will also be track and field in the spring.

For high school students, cross country and volleyball take place in first semester, followed by basketball from December to March. There are also opportunities for track and field, girls soccer, and golf in the spring.

High school sports will have some extra fees attached due to various things like travel, tournament costs, uniforms, etc. One sport must be fully paid before the next sport can be joined.

We have a page on our website dedicated to athletics. You’ll find practice times and policies at https://cedars.bc.ca/athletics

Setting Up Recurring Tuition Payments

Tuition payments must be automatically recurring, either by a credit card or a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) arrangement, or be paid by lump sum in advance. You can set up your credit card payments either in-school or by phoning us (250-564-0707).

If you would rather do bank account withdrawals on the 1st or 15th of each month, you can find our PAD form on the Forms Page. Fill it out and hand it in to the Business Office.

All payments must be set up by September 13th each year. Office staff are back in session two weeks before the beginning of the school year and would be happy to help you get set for the year!
