
Accessibility at Cedars – Community Feedback Needed
On April 14, 2022, an Accessible BC Act was established to promote accessibility in BC. Government and listed organizations, including independent schools and public school districts, are required to complete the requirements under PART 3 of the Act by September 1, 2023. The Society of Christian Schools in BC (SCSBC) will be helping member schools develop the following:
- An Accessibility Committee
- An Accessibility Plan
- A Mechanism for Receiving Feedback
Our leadership team will be completing a Physical Accessibility Audit and Universal Supports Checklist for SCSBC, but are asking for community input on accessibility at Cedars through the following 8-question survey. Please take some time to share your perspective and experience around school accessibility before Wednesday, June 14th to assist SCSBC in developing a solid accessibility plan for our family of schools.
