Cedars’ volleyball teams came home with two championships and a second place finish after this past weekend’s tournaments!

The Junior Girls came second to PGSS at the DP Todd tournament. It was their best finish of the season to date and to top it off they finally defeated College Heights, too!

The Senior Girls travelled to McBride and came away with the championship plaque! They went undefeated after playing a number of teams they will meet at the Zone Championship in Chetwynd in two weeks.

Finally, the Senior Boys had a great weekend of volleyball winning our own Cedars Eagles Invitational by defeating Vernon Christian, the #1 ‘A’ team in the province, 2-0. It was the second time in the tournament that they defeated Vernon which will certainly improve upon their #4 ranking from last week; we may even be #1??

This weekend the senior teams are in the Kodiak Classic while the Junior Girls are at CHSS.
